Anointed is just one word that describes the ministry and calling of Bishop Eugene Victory Reeves. Bishop Reeves is an anointed preacher, insightful teacher, and visionary. Through his leadership and life-changing messages, many pastors, business owners, community leaders and political leaders have been inspired and directed toward the Cross of Jesus Christ. Bishop Reeves officially accepted his call to the ministry in 1976 at the Bibleway Church of God in Christ under Superintendent Rochester Rodgers where he was licensed in 1978. In September 2001 Pastor Eugene Reeves was consecrated Bishop and later received official Apostolic Succession in the International Community of Christian Churches (ICCC) under Archbishop Van Gayton. Currently, Bishop Reeves serves as the General Secretary for the House of Bishops.

A true visionary, Bishop Reeves is the founder and Senior Pastor of New Life Anointed Ministries International, Inc. also known as "The Life". In fifteen years, through his guidance and leadership, The Life has grown from the initial five members to over 3,100 and still growing.

With God’s wisdom, Bishop Reeves provides spiritual covering for churches in Colorado, Arkansas, Tennessee, Texas, Georgia, Florida, South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia, Pennsylvania, Maryland and the District of Columbia. In addition, he provides oversight for churches in Uganda (31 under the leadership Bishop Etu), Kenya (137 under the leadership of Bishop Obonyo), Guyana (18 under the leadership of Overseer David), the Netherlands, United Kingdom, Germany, Ghana and Panama. He has preached and conducted pastoral training in Europe, Africa, North America and South America.
